Living Beyond Ministries exists to exalt the Savior and equip believers so they can engage their world. Founded by Dr. Mike and Amy Edwards, this ministry executes this mission by providing believers with resources such as podcasts, books, devotionals, sermons, and more. In addition, Mike and Amy each speak at various church conferences and meetings around the country throughout the year. Mike and Amy are the founding pastor and pastor’s wife at Piedmont Baptist Church.
Dr. Mike Edwards
Dr. Mike Edwards was saved at the age of 6 on a Sunday Night after the evening service at his home. He is happily married to his loving wife Amy, and has two precious daughters, Sarah and Anna. He is the pastor and founder of the Piedmont Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC. He and his wife started the church with 4 people in a public school gym in 2001. It is amazing what the Lord has done from this humble, small beginning. He holds a B.S. Degree from Tennessee Temple University, a Master of Theology from Carolina Bible College, and a Doctor of Divinity from Victory Baptist College.
Amy Edwards
Amy Edwards is the wife of Dr. Michael Edwards, founding pastor of Piedmont Baptist Church in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Amy’s passion is teaching the truths from God’s Word to the women of the local church. She is the founder of Beyond Women’s Ministries and cofounder of Living Beyond Ministries. Along with traveling as a keynote speaker around the country, Amy has written and published multiple women’s Bible studies and devotional books. Each week Amy teaches a women’s Bible study and podcast entitled, “My Beyond Life.”Amy’s desire is to equip, enable, and empower today’s Christian woman to live a life beyond the lies, limits, and labels so often placed on or around her.
